That’s right: Christmas promotions and deals are going to be everywhere this month, so why not grab some trendy loot at great prices? Why, KrisShop’s mega deals and Qoo10’s year end sale will contain products that might even go up to 80% off their usual prices! And be sure to watch out for those 12.12 sales – Shopee’s promotions can involve a cashback that goes up to 30% for your purchase, Ezbuy’s Grand Finale sale involves cash vouchers and discount promos, and other online shopping platforms like Lazada, Zalora, and more, will be having great deals this season too!
For those of you who are doing your shopping at Capitaland malls, you might be able to get a $10 cashback for every $120 spent in the malls. Marvel and take pictures with life-sized dinosaurs, let loose with your little ones in go-karts and a dinosaur-themed bouncy castle, get transported to a breath-takingwinter wonderland snow house, and then wrap up the festivities at the 16-metre tall Christmas tree. Don’t forget to bring your winter clothes to keep warm in the snow! Definitely a memorable activity to celebrate Christmas in Singapore.
Note: you can book play slots in advance using the iChangi app to participate in the Changi Festive Village attractions.
#3: Ice Skate in the snow
Even though you may not be able to travel to a snow-covered landscape this Christmas, you can still enjoy one key winter sport at The Rink in Jcube Mall: ice skating! For just a $14 entry fee for adults ($12 for children in primary school and below), you can enjoy two hours to glide across the ice to your heart’s content. Figure skates, hockey skates, and speed skates can be rented for an additional $4. What’s more, if you head to the Rink on 24th or 25th December, the Rink promises a “snow fall” for every public session for more winter magic! If you’re scared of falling on the ice, you can even rent adorable penguin, snowman, or seal skating aids for $11-$15 for every 2 hours! If you want crash pads for additional protection, you’ll need to bring them yourselves, though. But nevertheless, ice-skating can be a fun and challenging activity for all of you brave enough to try it!
Note: prices may be subject to additional surcharges during the festive season. The Rink has a maximum capacity of 50 pax due to social distancing measures, so it is essential to arrive early to reserve a slot in advance!
