Fried Cheese Dog Sticks
This is one of the most popular street food that you can find in Korea! With just a bite, the cheese can actually stretch up till a meter in length! The appearance is gold and crispy while the inside is tender and smooth with a strong cheesy fragrance
- hot dog
- Mozzarella Cheese sticks
- Bamboo sticks
- 1 cup of flour (all purpose flour)
- 2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 tablespoon sugar
- 1 egg
- 3/4 cup of cold milk
- 1 cup of bread crumbs
- Chilli sauce/ Tomato sauce
- Honey mustard
Step 1: Put the flour, baking powder, salt and sugar in a bowl and mix well
Step 2: Then add the eggs and milk and mix again.
Step 3: Pour the batter into a long glass and place it in the refrigerator until ready to use. (Place in the refrigerator for at least 5 minutes to 10 minutes.)
Step 4: After the bamboo sticks are washed, hotdog and mozzarella are skewered separately. You can also skewer cheese and sausage in half.
Step 5: Coat the hot dog with a little bit of flour and put it in the refrigerator for at least 5 to 10 minutes. The sausage tail is cut into crosses, and after frying, it will curl into a cute octopus shape. (It is very important to keep the temperature of all foods low, otherwise the cheese will leak into the oil.)
Step 6: Then coat the hot dog with a sticky batter, make sure to cover all around, wrap the hot dog in bread crumbs, and then carefully put it in the frying oil.
Step 7: Fry for 5 minutes or until golden brown, flip at least once. Pick it up when it’s golden, and put it on the absorbent paper.
Step 8: Pick it up when it is golden, and put it on the absorbent paper. Sprinkle the powdered sugar on the plate and roll the hot dog on the sugar until it is even. This is what makes Korean hot dogs so delicious, so do n’t miss it!
Step 9: Add ketchup / chili sauce / Honey Mustard (depending on personal taste), even if you are done!

Today, we share a simple kimbap roll, with simple ingredients. Its super easy and never fails! Kimbap is a common snack in Korea and you can spot them in every Korean drama.
- Korean pickled radish
- Carrots (shredded)
- Cucumber (cut into long strips)
- Eggs (shredded)
- Roasted seasame
- Nori (Seaweed)
- Sesame oil
Step 1: After cooking rice with ordinary white rice, mix in 1 tablespoon of sesame oil and a small teaspoon of salt and mix well. The rice is boring for 10-15 minutes, and the rice will be more Q.
Step 2: After adding a little salt to break up the eggs, pour in the egg liquid and use a small fire to fry both sides until golden brown. Pick up the egg, let it cool and cut into thin strips.
Step 3: Heat a little bit of sesame oil in the pan, add the shredded carrots to the pan and stir fry until they are slightly tender. Then, cut the cucumber into long strips, add a little bit of sesame oil in the same way, and fry the cucumber strips.
Step 4: The most important ingredient, “marinated yellow radish,” must not be kept in the same way, and the same must be cut into long strips (many Korean grocery stores can sell it). “Pickled yellow radish” is a light yellow radish, with a sweet and sour taste, crisp taste, very delicious.
Step 5: Spread a seaweed sheet (thick side up, smooth side down) on the sushi curtain and apply a little sesame oil. Add rice and sprinkle a little roasted sesame on top of the rice.
Step 6: Then, add all the ingredients, including cucumber, shredded carrots, pickled yellow radish, thin strips of eggs … and squeeze a bit more mayonnaise.
Step 7: After rolling up again, squeeze firmly to make Kimbap’s indentation even.
Step 8: After making it, cut Kimbap into small pieces, put it on the plate and serve!
Japchae is a unique korean noodle, mixed with various vegetables and can be taken as a staple food! It’s is healthy and delicious!
- Sweet potato noodles
- Small carrots
- 1 onion
- 1 scallion
- 3 cloves of garlic
- 5 mushrooms
- Spinach (small amount)
- Roasted sesame
- 5 tablespoons of soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons of sugar
- 1 tablespoon of sesame oil
Step 1: Follow the instructions on the package to boil a large pot of water, and then put the Korean winter flour into the pot. (A pack of winter powder can’t be eaten by two people at all, so the amount of winter powder still needs to be pinched.) Korean winter powder takes longer to cook before it is soft, so the taste is relatively chewy.
Step 2: After cooking, drain and rinse with cold water, then add 1 teaspoon of sesame oil and mix well.
Step 3: Cut all the vegetables into shreds, and also cut the tofu into thin rectangles. Put 5 tablespoons of soy sauce, 2 tablespoons of sugar and 1 tablespoon of sesame oil, and mix all the seasonings in a small bowl.
Step 4: In a pot, heat over medium heat and add a little oil. Fry the tofu until the sides are slightly brown, then transfer to another bowl and set aside. In the same pot, saute onion and garlic for 1 minute, then add mushrooms and carrots, and saute for another minute. Finally, add zucchini, shallots and spinach, and saute for another minute.
Step 5: Reduce the heat slightly, then add the cooked winter flour and stir well. After mixing well, pour in the seasoning and cook until all the seasoning is completely absorbed. (You can try the taste, the taste is not enough, you can add seasoning)
Step 6: After all the ingredients and sauce are evenly mixed, it is ready to eat with roasted sesame seeds!
