My husband and I met up with a few interior designers before deciding on Valentina from Forefront Interior. Forefront interior came across as a well established and experienced team of interior designers who provided very detailed and transparent quotation. We wanted an interior designer who understood our needs and at the same time able to provide interesting and constructive ideas which we never thought of. Although my husband and I had opposing preferences, Valentina made the effort to understand both our preferences and found a balance between pragmatic needs and aesthetic purposes. She also offered her own constructive ideas which complemented the design of our home. We were amazed with how Valentina coordinated the whole renovation process. Before the start of the renovation, Valentina provided a gantt chart detailing every component of the renovation process. Prior to the start of each week, she would provide an update on the works that have been scheduled for the upcoming week and take photos to show us the progress of the renovation. She also coordinated with the various suppliers/contractors that we chose and helped with the installation of our accessories we got from Taobao. This made the whole process frustration-free as we were both busy at work, and have little time to visit the site to monitor the progress. We were even more impressed with the after-sales service. We are truly thankful to have Vic as our interior designer:) We first met Vic at the Qanvast fair. At first we were abit skeptical as we couldn’t find any online reviews about Vic (as he was new) and so we were not sure if he was able to do a good job. But looking back now, our worries were uncalled for. Firstly and definitely, Vic needs to be praised for his time management. He scheduled and coordinated all the renovation work so well that everything went according to plan. Vic also listened to our needs attentively and advised us accordingly. There were many instances when our ideas were rather vague or we didn’t even know what we wanted. But being kind, patient and understanding, Vic advised us all the way through sincerely in the selection of colours, designs and dimensions of the cabinet, lightings, curtains and furnitures. My wife and I engaged JT to renovate our 5-room BTO unit. From the first day, JT always tries his best to understand our needs. He is very good at listening to our expectations and incorporating it into his design. He is very accommodating, approachable, and flexible - always working around our preferences and choices without imposing. Above all, he and Nikki have provided excellent customer service throughout our renovation experience with them. Every concern, large or minor, is taken seriously by them and responded to almost immediately. Once, even when JT was on overseas holiday, he responded to our query by sending a hand-drawn diagram on a napkin while he was having breakfast... on a weekend some more! So, in terms of dedication, commitment, and customer service, I have to say JT and Nikki are superb! Definitely 5/5 stars. My wife and i met up with 5 ID firms in the beginning. As we are first-time house owners, we are very particular with choosing an ID. In the end, we shortlisted 2 ID firms and decided to go with Jayce from Forefront Interior. It turned out to be the best decision ever and we are super glad that we made the right choice. 1. Designs that cater to our lifestyle - Jayce would take time and effort to understand more about our lifestyle before providing his ideas to suit our needs. Before our renovation started, Jayce visited our place to show us how could the space be used around the house. He would not push for works which is unnecessary which we really appreciate a lot. We also feedback to Jayce that we would like the house to look spacious. He suggested creative and practical ideas to play with the space in our house. Before the renovation started, our parents commented that our house is small. After the renovation is completed, our parents were surprised and said that our house looks big (all thanks to Jayce's ideas) 2. Designs and ideas - Jayce would provide us dimension of the furniture/ electrical appliances so that we could get the right size items for our house. He also advised the colours of the furniture/ walls/ tiles/ curtains that suit the theme of our house. He pays a lot of attention to details and colour combination. 3. Approachable and patient - Throughout the renovation journey, we feel extremely comfortable speaking to Jayce about our expectations and likes/ dislikes. Anything which require explanation, he will take time and effort to explain to ensure we understand. He also has has a positive and cheerful attitude that we really like! 4. Follow-up weekly & responsive - Jayce has a good project management which is important. It was a hassle-free experience. We never had to worry about following up with him. Every week, he would automatically send us updates and photos of our renovation status. He is very prompt in his response and always reachable. Jayce did a good job in coordinating with all the vendors. All we need to do is do provide him the contact number and he would do the rest of the liaising. For example - Gas pipe installation, air-con installation. He was at our place to ensure that everything was nicely done. 5. Dedicated & committed - Jayce takes pride in his work. During our renovation journey, he had a minor surgery which require him to rest. Instead of resting at home which we asked him to, he went over to our house to check and keep us updated on our house progress. 6. Work towards our budget - We advised Jayce that we have a tight budget to keep to. He never once pressure us to increase our budget and instead provided his inputs on how we could work together to keep to the budget that we are comfortable with. 7. Post renovation service/ issue - Jayce is responsive to our messages even after the project has been handed to us. He would get his contractors to touch up on the things which were required. Overall, it was a great and pleasant renovation journey with Jayce. We are super thankful to have him as our ID. We strongly recommend Jayce to anyone who is looking to renovate their house. We met with a few ID firms earlier in 2019 when we were still purchasing the house, and after going through a few selection rounds, we decided to go with Jocelyn from Forefront Interior. The design process was an interesting one, and Jocelyn had a rather methodical way of going through each area to be renovated, and came up which innovative ideas on how we could make the house more spacious, without sacrificing function. A key part of why we ended up choosing her design was the fact that she was the only ID we met who could make our counter top feel natural and not obtrusive. As we moved through the various rooms in the house, Jocelyn would also talk about the user experience of various things we wanted there and how it integrated with the rest of the environment which was refreshing. Jocelyn also recommended loose pieces of furniture where it made sense, and did not try to force carpentry+quartz on us across the entire house, which was unique among all the ID's we approached. During the project, her counterpart Jack was also very on the ball, and not only supported their side of the work, but also helped us receive the various furniture as well as liaise with opennet and citygas. As a result, we didn't really spent much time on this once the work started, and only made the occasional visit just to check in on progress. Quality was generally up to standard, nothing much to complain about. After handover, we realized that there were a couple of items we missed out on checking, and despite having made the full payment and all, Jocelyn and Jack were very on the ball in rectifying some of these items, even coming down personally, which I appreciated. All in all, we were quite happy with the outcomes from this renovation, and would definitely recommend them to friends. -Facebook Review
