Different Bathroom Designs To Inspire Your Next Renovation (Part 1)

Are you planning to renovate or design your bathroom but are not sure where to start?  Doing so not only offers a great way to fix any existing bathroom problems (such as leakages), but it can also modernise and revamp the look of your bathroom. Therefore, look no further than this article as we explore some of the most beautiful and functional newly renovated bathroom designs.

Dark and modern

Looking for a bathroom design inspiration to fit the rest of your home’s dark and modern aesthetic theme? Featuring darker tiles, and black accentuated bathroom accessories, this toilet designed by Artspaze would be a great renovation inspiration then.

In fact, it is a great example of how even smaller-sized bathrooms can still look aesthetically-pleasing! Simply opt for sleek black rain showers, a larger-sized black accented mirror, and a floating sink to achieve this look.

The lack of shower doors and the usage of a floating sink helps to open up the space, thus making this bathroom appear more spacious and clean. Not to worry, there is a subtle ledge to ensure water does not get to the sink areas, while at the same time, does not disrupt the aesthetic of this beautiful bathroom.

Bright and luxurious

If the previous dark-themed bathroom doesn’t speak out to you, perhaps this bright and luxurious designed toilet designed by Chapter 3 will inspire your bathroom renovation journey.

With gold accented bathroom accessories, a beautiful sleek white bathtub, and simple but uniquely designed walls, this bathroom looks incredibly luxurious and aesthetically pleasing. Not to mention, it is a great inspiration to show that even if you have a smaller bathroom, you can also have a bathtub! All you got to do is to add a shower head to the bathtub so it can also double as your shower area. With that said, you can also add a larger-sized mirror to make your toilet appear more spacious and luxurious.

Modern vanity mirror

For those who love to have a beautiful modern vanity mirror, this bathroom designed by Creative Studio would be a great inspiration! The key to achieving this modern look is to make use of backlighting and a touch of marble design.

As you can see, the backlighting on the vanity mirror and cupboard help to modernise and brighten up the space. With that said, this incredibly aesthetically-pleasing bathroom does not fall short in terms of functionality either.

With lots of drawer space, a sufficiently-spacious shower room, and a deep shower ledge for all your toiletries, you can rest assured that this bathroom can serve both functionality and aesthetics. In fact, if you take a closer look at the vanity mirror, you will also notice the “zoomed in” circular mirror to help you take a closer look at your make up for example. This just goes to show how a close eye on detail can really help to enhance the functionality of your bathroom.

Unique tiles

If you want a bathroom that stands out, or you are someone who loves beautifully-designed tiles, perhaps this bathroom designed by Diva can inspire your bathroom renovation journey.

While both the floor tiles and wall tiles are uniquely-designed, where the wall tiles even feature many varying tree or nature-inspired designs, the whole bathroom still looks cohesive and not too messy.

And you might be wondering – how is this achieved? Well, it would be best for only one side of your bathroom to feature a more complex design, while the other sides of your bathroom and floor take on a simpler design. In addition, it helps if your entire bathroom follows a similar scheme of color to tie the whole bathroom together in a beautiful way.

With that said, apart from the unique design, another aspect that makes this bathroom stand out is its ability to appear spacious! Despite the rather small floor area, the usage of white-based tiles and sliding glass shower doors, helps to open up the space which makes the bathroom appear larger and more spacious.

Spacious and wooden

Talking about spacious bathrooms, this wooden-themed bathroom designed by Elpis Interior takes the cake in terms of how spacious, beautiful, and modern it looks. In fact, you might be surprised to know that this bathroom isn’t that big in terms of square ft.

Rather, it’s because of how Elpis Interior designed the bathroom to give a visual illusion of a spacious and airy bathroom! And how is this achieved you may be wondering? Well, unlike the traditional shower doors, Elpis Interior opted for a much smaller glass shower door that separated the shower area and sink area.

Not only does this use up less space and can make the toilet appear more spacious, but it also provides functionality and practicality as it ensures water does not splash towards the sink area. Talking about functionality, Elpis Interior has also doubled the mirror as a hidden storage area, so you can definitely use that as an inspiration for your bathroom renovation journey.

Clean and exquisite

For those of you who love a sparkling clean white bathroom, this bathroom designed by ExQsite is sure to impress you! Indeed, ExQsite managed to design their bathroom exquisitely with the usage of white bathroom accessories and a touch of marbling features.

Be it the slightly marbled bathtub or sink table, or perhaps the white-based tiled wall, you can’t deny how beautiful a clean and white-themed bathroom looks. With that said, to prevent your bathroom from looking too boring or plain, we recommend adding some variations or textures to the white walls.

For instance, ExQsite designed the walls to either have a slight marbling effect or have varying themed colors to ensure visual coherence in an interesting way. Practicality is also not forgotten in this pristine toilet. ExQsite also made use of a mirror with hidden storage space, and at the same time, also added a glass partition at the bathtub to prevent water from splashing into the other areas of the toilet.

Minimalist accent

If the above bathroom designed by Interior Diary speaks to you, you should consider using their bathroom as inspiration as you renovate your bathroom to have a similar minimalist accent design!

Instead of the traditional shower doors, Interior Diary opted for a partial shower door with black outlining accents. Not only does this use up less space and prevent the bathroom from appearing cramped, but it also helps to tie in the entire look of the bathroom.

With the usage of sleek black bathroom accessories (such as the shower head, tower hook, and tap) against the white tiled walls with black grooves; this entire bathroom looks aamazing with this mostly monochromatic theme of color. To add some visual interest, a wooden sink cabinet is used, and yellow lighting is used.

Modern black marbling

This bathroom designed by interior empire, as their company name suggests, really seems like it is part of an empire with how modern, luxurious, and aesthetically pleasing the bathroom is! Featuring a unique black marbled wall, shiny rose gold sink, and shower accessories, don’t you agree this bathroom really looks amazing?

In fact, to match the entire aesthetic of the bathroom, the toilet pipes have even been recolored to black so it blends in well with the black marbled wall. Not to mention, interior empire has even replaced the usual boring toilet lighting with yellow spotlights! This helps to tie the entire look of the bathroom together, while at the same time, allowing shining a spotlight on how beautiful the bathroom is.

Airy white marbling

Another beautifully-designed bathroom by Miracle! As you can see, they managed to transform this bathroom to be elegant, clean, and airy with the usage of white and marbled-themed bathroom accessories. In fact, the usage of mostly white themed is extremely smart as it blends in well with the existing toilet white pipes. With that said, to add some textures and visual interest to the bathroom, the sink is customised to be of a unique oval shape in a deep grey colour.

A floating sink cabinet is also used to ensure that water doesn’t seep into the cupboards, while at the same time, causing the bathroom to appear more spacious.
