Interior Empire’s White Palace
You’ll be in absolute awe when you look at how clean and pristine this quaint home located in Woodlands looks. Based on the interior alone, you probably would never guess that this is a
HDB flat. The designers at
Interior Empire truly outdid themselves with this project and turned a simple space into a magnificent fortress.
The living room
Everything starts with the living room – it lays the foundation for the entire home and sets the tone and mood. The entire space just looks very neat and organized because of the white walls and marbled floors. The designers also emphasized on the spaciousness by minimizing the amount of furniture and décor in the room.
The living room has ample natural lighting with large windows and is also situated next to the dining area for ease of movement
The dining area is simply decorated with a marble table top to match the floor. The cabinets at the back have a very satisfying geometric pattern with clean and sleek lines. The display cabinet also introduces an added dimension of colour from the photos and decorations.
The Kitchen
Like the rest of the home, the
kitchen features glossy white cabinets and a backlit glass backsplash. The kitchen, being one of the busiest and most active rooms in a home, was installed with many cabinets to accommodate various equipment, food items and dishes. There is also lots of counterspace for cooking and baking.
The dining area leads into a small hallway that has matching doors to the various rooms. Since the space is rather small and narrow, it was left free of any decorations or furniture that would cause it to look cluttered and even smaller.
The Bedroom
One of the most important rooms in any home is the bedroom. This flat has a large bedroom that the designers very smartly decorated in order to emphasise on the space. The large windows allow lots of light into the room and brightens up the space and atmosphere. The bay seating is a cute touch, especially for those of us who like a change in scenery once in a while.
The Bathroom
Although the bathroom is one of the smaller and less frequently visited places in a home, the designers did not neglect this room at all. It still looks as chic and lavish as any other room in the home.
The use of a circular backlit mirror creates a more interesting visual effect, especially among the use of lines in other parts of the bathroom. The layout of the bathroom resembles that of a hotel , with glass panels separating the shower area and a little shelf in the shower area for toiletries.
