The epitome of contemporary – designed by ExQsite
This project done by ExQsite is exactly what you would imagine when you’re asked to think of a home that is modern, fresh and clean. The designers at ExQsite managed to elevate this condominium home to an even higher level of elegance and modernity.
It seems that the design for this home was inspired by Scandinavian homes as it features a lot of light wood, white backgrounds and intimate backlighting. Every touch and element of this home is very well thought-out and we can clearly see the expertise of the designers in being able to create a cohesive home.
Living room
The living room almost has a sense of serenity with the brightly lit atmosphere and beautiful scenery from the large living room windows.
Just like most Scandinavian-inspired homes, this living room is minimally decorated – only a sofa, decorative plant, and the actual television stand occupies this space. This emphasizes the large space of the room and allows guests to admire the beautiful floor texture.
Backlighting is used for the TV display that creates a unique illuminating effect in the living room. The TV console also has a wooden finish to match the floor and rest of the home.
Dining room
The dining area overlooks the condominium as it is situated right next to the window. This creates a nicely-lit space to have your meals during the day but can turn into an intimate, cosy setting at night. There is a shoe cabinet and mirror placed next to the dining area that is conveniently also next to the door.
Fresh and clean are probably two of the most appropriate words to describe this part of the home.
Kitchen
Pastel blue cabinets are a unique choice for this project but it introduces a nice pop of colour to the home, especially since the kitchen usually has lesser items and deocrations. A white marbled background serves as the perfect canvas for this kitchen and enhances the modern look of the kitchen.
You’ll also likely notice the interesting floor designs leading into the kitchen. This is reminiscent of certain cottage homes that have very eclectic floor patterns. The wooden floor gives way to ceramic tiles that are a smart choice because they are more suited for the kitchen where there are many liquids and oils involved.
Bathroom
The last, but arguably, one of the most underrated spaces is the bathroom. There is a focus on squares and rectangles in this bathroom with the mirrors, glass panels and cabinet. The bathroom seems to have a no-frills design, just like the rest of the home, as it is also minimally decorated and only the essentials are included. This is especially crucial in a smaller space, such as the bathroom, to prevent it from looking cluttered.
