In simple words, Priscilla has ample experience, guiding me through the hard decisions and helping me skip all the hard choices I have to make with her great suggestions and excellent taste. For example, I admire her for picking my wall colour, giving my house an elegant touch and even the paint has a beautiful finish.

Working with Connie has been an incredibly pleasant experience for my wife and I. We were delighted when we saw the 3D mockups of her design, which ended up resembling the final product a lot! Connie adopts a problem-solving approach to our renovation project by helping us make choices that are practical and stylish at the same time. She has great relationships with her vendors and contractors, which seems to result in great quality and workmanship. Connie was recommended to us by a Secondary Schoolmate, who also had his home beautifully renovated by Underrated Studio. My wife and I intend to carry out personal "Home Improvement Programmes" on our new home annually and we will definitely go back to Connie and Underrated Studio for our yearly home upgrades!

We were introduced to JC through a friend, and decided to engage him to design our very first home. He was with us every step along the way, and made the seemingly daunting task of designing and renovating our place appear so simple. The designs and ideas proposed by him were top notch, and he is always highly responsive when we require his assistance or feedback (typically replies within an hour or so). My wife and I really appreciated his insights on the design and feasibility of certain design concepts, which didnt occur to inexperienced first time home owners like us. He would highlight any ideas which are not feasible, and would propose an alternative which works and is fairly in line with what we are looking for. He would make recommendations on items to purchase that would fit the theme of our place, even going the extra mile by accompanying us during toilet accessories shopping/sending us e-commerce links (taobao/shopee/lazada etc). He really prides himself on workmanship and adherence to the planned schedule, which are indefinitely the most important qualities we would like to see from our ID. Even during these challenging times of manpower shortage, he was able to deliver our place AHEAD of schedule without compromising on the quality. It was an absolute joy to work with him thanks to his friendly and accommodative personality, and we are deeply grateful towards JC for designing such an amazing place for us. I would strongly recommend his services if you are in the market for an ID!

Prior to choosing Eileen from Black & Butter for our home's renovation , we went over to multiple ID Firms to compare the rates for services we need. Among all, Black & Butter was one that replied promptly upon enquiring and gave the most value for money quote I have received. Eileen was able to conceptualise what we needed and gave very good recommendation much to our liking. Eileen coordinates the project very well and monitor the work closely. The whole renovation went very smoothly with the timeline met and without compromising on quality. I would say the workmanship was great and we are very satisfied with the outcome! Would definitely recommend them to our friends & family for their services! Good job Eileen!

Really glad and thankful that we have the opportunity to work together with Yilin as our ID for our first home. During the planning process, she offered many good home design advice and provided many ideas that me and my husband loved greatly. Throughout the entire renovation process, she was very on the ball with the entire communication with both us and the crew and helped to ensure that any issues we were met with are resolved well. She was also very prompt in responding to any of our enquiries even when the timing is not the best. Highly recommend

We get to know about black & butter through a friend's recommendation. Jasmine was assigned to us for the project. On our first appt, we were already impressed by her presentation as well as her ideas had in mind for us after we have shared our requirements. She provides transparent quote and most importantly no hidden cost incurred during our renovation. Commendable workmanship & service from the team. Definitely deserve 10stars!

We went through a selection of few IDs before we shortlisted Black & Butter. We decided to go ahead with them as we feel that Jasmine was attention to details and had suggested a design addressing to our needs. Throughout the whole renovation process, Jasmine had provided professional advices on tiles selection, furniture, lightings etc. She had worked closely with the subcon to ensure works are completed on time. I come across them through friend recommendation and I browse through their social media. Pretty Impressed by their design. Therefore, I decided to engage their services. The person I met up with is Jasmine. A very polite & experienced designer. She is very efficient and very prompt to replying enquiries. After her first site visit, the time for her to come up with the plan and final drawing only took them a few days. Jasmine welcome input or changes even for last minute changes. The time coordination for electrician and carpentry and etc to come over to do up their respective tasking is well organised. The finished product was impressive and the workers they engage was meticulous as not to knock or damage your house. Workmanship is excellent and the quality as well. The price quoted is reasonable and comparatively lower as I have source a few other IDs. I would definitely recommend them to my friends. Thumbs up for Black & Butter!!

I highly recommend Jasmine from Black & Butter. Jasmine made my renovation process a fuss-free and smooth sailing one which I truly appreciate. I hardly needed to send reminders for updates as she would instinctively provide them. She even went beyond her role as an ID to source for our lights considering I was occupied at that time. Jasmine also did not hesitate to problem-solve any issues along the way. From our experience, Jasmine exceeded our expectations as she was intuitive and patient in knowing what we want. She offered great advice and was open for discussion as well. We had consulted various IDs and found Jasmine to be the best fit for our requirements. While exploring and shortlisting interior design companies, we chanced upon Black & Butter and engaged Jasmine as our ID. We chose to go with Black & Butter based on good reviews and reputation of the company. Jasmine was very prompt and responsive, and most importantly understood our requirements and priorities we had for our new house. Jasmine also recommended a few great vendors and helped us with liaising which we appreciated. Overall we had a pleasant experience with Jasmine and Black & Butter and would definitely recommend to others who need to do renovation works in the future!

Howard is one of the best ID we have encountered. He is thoughtful and does not hard sell his ideas in the design process, instead he comes up with alternatives that better match what we wanted. He made sure that the place is not only tastefully done up as well as ensuring the design would be practical to our day to day life style. He is also very responsive whenever we needed help, even if he is on a break. We could also see that she has a good rapport with the contractors which is always a plus point because we are very particular about the workmanship and even though there were a few back and forth before the handover, he managed to cleared all the rectification works and ensuring a good standard of workmanship! Thank you Howard!

Jasmine is our assigned interior designer from Black & Butter. She is an experienced interior designer and is able to present her concepts in a simple and easy to understand way. As a first time home owner, we lack experience in home design yet have so much expectation on everything. Jasmine, she would first understand the rationale behind our requests before patiently advising us on the practicability usage vs aethetical values vs cost, which at times were even to merge them together providing the best of both worlds no matter how small the details may be. Jasmine is always on schedule during the 2months renovation period and would take the initiative to update us on the progress. She would even seek our consent to make changes if she feels that the outcome could have been better instead of keeping quiet about it. It has been 2-3weeks after renovation and we are still in contact with Jasmine , sharing with her the joy of moving to our new home which she took part in helping to make it a better experience. We consider ourselves lucky to have Jasmine as our interior designer from Black & Butter after hearing so many horror stories in this industry. All in all, we would strongly recommend Jasmine to anyone who is seeking a truthworthy interior designer.

Howard was a responsible and reliable designer who tried his best to meet our requests. Howard took in our inputs after the first draft and came back with a much nicer set of design. The drafts were close to reality. He was attentive to the details too. He was knowledgeable in interior designs and other technical aspect. He would immediately rectify issues whenever we visited the site. Carpentry workmanship was very good. Carpenters were able to work fast to deliver within a short timeframe. They even gave ideas and make adjustment after taking in our requirements. The team took time and effort to customize designs to fit the theme. Our family was very pleased with the outcome and able to live in comfortably in our new home. We strongly recommend Howard to design and manage your interior designing needs.

Jasmine was our ID. We like the way she did not over promise, managing our expectations while keeping to the budget. Also, we were getting constant updates along the way to make sure we could move in on time. All we did was show her a you tube video of what we hoped to have as an end product, and she made it happen. Kudos!

Never regretted choosing Akmal from Black & Butter as our ID! Out of the many IDs we consulted, he was the only one that understands our design expectation and also, we felt very comfortable with him, Not pushy at all, i would say he is very responsive and very responsible.Akmal is very easy to work with for sure. Best part, renovation completed ahead of schedule. Home owners, he deserves your attention! One of our friend has engaged his service too!
