I was referred to Daniel Tang from my friend who is doing his house renovation. Despite providing all details and reminders send. Daniel Tang just giving empty promises and let me waited endlessly for his quotation. He could politely declined my quotation request, if he felt the contract amount was too small for his commission, rather than rudely ignore me. My friend's unit who in-charge by him, was given the 3D drawings before selection of materials. There were also no amendment made to those wrongly drawn areas and no update when materials were confirmed. In this manner of working, how could the house owner virtualized the prospective of the completed work. This is the worst ID I had encountered, which seems more a sales ID than a professional ID, and was glad I did not engage them. Design No comment. But my friend's unit design was nothing special. In fact, most of the layout and ideas were contributed by the house owner. Workmanship The renovation work in my friend's place has yet to complete, so unable to comment at this point of time. Service The service is very poor, full of excuses, not professional and not responsive especially to small budget unit. Value for Money The ID in-charge may suggest enhancement work that causes variation work and increased 10-20% of the original contract amount. By mum_yean_cheang

My Wife and I started our ID searching as soon as we placed our selection for our unit. It was a good 3 years before we will get our keys. Quite a number of ID companies did not take us seriously. I highly recommend Diva's Interior Design. My first meeting with my ID left me a very positive experience. James was very attentive to my requests and he immediately understood what I wanted for my house. I have dealt with other IDs before for my previous houses but James immediately stood out as different. After considering the various other proposals given by other IDs, I settled on Diva's because I was impressed by their portfolio as well as James' professionalism. Throughout the project, James kept me apprised of developments. Mine was an old HDB flat and there were many inherent structural issues but James ironed them out. I've thrown James a few curveballs with my request, but he never denied them. Instead he would give serious consideration to them and came back with a confirmation that he could do them or even gave me a better solution. I was impressed! The quality service provided by Diva’s Interior remains commendable even after 7 years. Engaged them for my own renovation then and decided to engage them again for my dad’s hse renovation and no regrets. Evan, my dad’s ID and Kevin (our ID back then) provided practical tips and took in our suggestions and gave us advice when we discussed the renovation plans. There was always the concept of open discussion. Evan followed up very closely with the renovation schedule and we never had to chase him to get things done. We got Lowe to help us with our new place earlier this year…it was a bit last minute as originally i kinda wanted to fix the house up myself but i realised i didn’t have the time (and i’m too lazy) to do it…so i went searching for an ID company. Lowe is friendly, efficient and remarkably patient with all the questions and requirements i threw at him, helping us through all the little details which made it very easy for us. He is quick with suggestions, never up-selling and even giving us advice on how to save money; and whenever i show him something i like (from a magazine/ website/ weird random ideas etc), he will come up with practical ways to incorporate what i want into a cohesive design. He is also very responsive, something i really appreciate, so that i’m always updated with how the renovations are going. And lastly, he always turns up for our appointments cheerfully and on time (even early morning appointments! and i know he lives / works on the other end of the country)… all in all, we like him so much we hired him to help out with my grandma’s house as well. We walk into the Diva Interior showroom in June 2018 one late evening to explore about renovating our Condo that is already 18 year old. We have been searching for a few months and met up with a few ID through recommendation from other company but they were not quite what my wife wanted. As my wife is very aesthetically inclined, she has already an design concept but needed the ID to work with her concept (including sourcing some hard to find wall features etc).

The 1st meeting was good with Jay the ID and make my wife comfortable with his design approach, helping her to finalize her concept with helpful input. The design drawing and proposal that came out from Jay subsequently was very good and met what my wife wanted and my planned budget. The renovation went ahead with some minor hiccups (as in most renovation) but it was well resolved by Jay patiently. Even after more than one year when warranty is over and there was a water heater electrical switch problem, we called Jay and he got his guys to fix for us the next day without charge. We strongly recommend Jay.

I like to thank my interior designer Clement Ng. Really impressive design and choice of Colour scheme . Project delivered on time with high quality workmanship .
